We're used to paring anything pastel, floral, crochet, or overall feminine with a denim jacket, a quarter sleeve sweater or an essential tailored blazer. Those are all great, but what if you want to go on a stroll down the park, or you're going on a date and those options are just not working! You'd want to wear something flowy and cozy but not overwhelming, especially with a feminine dress. That's when I tried a silk parka. There's a few beautiful parkas that I've linked above but this one is the best of the best. I really admire the longer lapel because it seems so much softer; but it's also sort of rock and roll because it seems like another version of a motorcycle jacket. I'd also try a silk blouse that's a bit more cropped on the hips. As for the accessories, I really love clashing silver with gold tones so the silver toned bracelet & sandals and the gold clutch just works for me.

It's summer, so I'm going to try and wear my dresses more often. Dresses can be very casual if you pair it well. Stay tuned for more!

with love, Teresita.
